Query by elliott: How do I maintain my Traxxas ESC from turning off?
My Traxxas Rustler keeps shutting down. The VXL-3s digital speed control's (ESC) reduced voltage detection keeps activating.
I have a completely charged my battery and it is not a LiPo battery. It also happens when I completely speed up the Rustler, or when I attempt to brake all of a sudden at a substantial speed.
Does everyone have any fixes?

Yes, this is extremely widespread among VXL users. They have a bad issue of the connections coming undone or broken. Verify all the connections then check it out once more. If this does not perform, I would send it to Traxxas. They should repair/change it for a quite reduced price or free of charge if it is still beneath guarantee. When it's fixed or replaced I would sell it (you could get $ one hundred-$ 120 for it) and purchase your self a Castle Creations Sidewinder. WAY greater and even quicker. It's also only $ 135.
